8:45pm – LIVE MUSIC
Mathilde Toussaint Quartet (jazz)

Mathilde Toussanint

Mathilde Toussaint, a young French vocalist who has lived in Barcelona since 2015 is a master of the language of music. With a voice rich in aromas of the great jazz divas, she has no fear of taking risks. Toussaint provides the vocals for a jazz quartet featuring the virtuoso keyboard skills of Sergi Sirvent, with Horacio Fumero on double bass and David Xirgu on drums. Risk and exploration are constants in Sirvent’s playing style and understanding of music, and this is perfectly illustrated in the jazz improvisation that the Mathilde Toussaint Quartet serves up.

Mathilde Toussaint: vocals
Sergi Sirvent: keyboards
Horacio Fumero: double bass
David Xirgu: drums
