Spotlight , Tom McCarthy, USA, 2015
Original version in English with Spanish subtitles.

In 2002, a team of reporters from the Massachusetts newspaper The Boston Globe uncovered a child sex ring perpetrated by the Catholic church and covered up by people high up in the legal system and government. Based on a true story, this film shows how the reporters who published the story in the “Spotlight” section of the paper went on to win the Pulitzer Prize.

Three Oscars, including Best Film, was just reward for a powerful, honest film whose superb script grabs the spectator from the start.
