10 pm – FILM
The Wolf of Wall Street, Martin Scorsese, USA, 2014
Original version in English with Spanish subtitles

Jordan Belfort, an honest young man who wants to live the American dream, became one of the most successful brokers on Wall Street in the 1980s. Share value is like a roller-coaster, but such ups and downs are unimportant when the goal is not to increase one’s clients’ worth, but to pocket a good commission. Money, drugs, power and sex; you can never have enough. In his overwhelming ambition, Belfort is like a hungry wolf, unstoppable, unafraid even of the justice system.

Di Caprio turns in a virtuoso performance, playing the lead character in a spellbinding true story about jaw-dropping excess. McConaughey makes a brief but unforgettable cameo appearance, and Scorsese masterfully creates an ecosystem tinged dollar-bill green, in which man is a wolf to man.

Not recommended for spectators under 16 years

8.45 pm – CONCERT

Tumchak (jazz and swing)

Tumchak is the name of a band formed by musicians from different backgrounds, brought together by their love of jazz, swing and Gypsy sounds. Their exciting live shows, inspired by Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club de France, are led by a trumpet enamoured of the bebop of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. A dynamic show that also oozes nostalgia for the glory days of the past.
