Nightcrawler, Dan Gilroy, USA, 2015
Original version in English with Spanish subtitles

Lou Bloom, is a highly driven young man who is looking for a job. One day, he sees a traffic accident and meets two reporters at their work, which entails reaching the scene of the news first and getting quality images to be sold to the highest bidder. Without hesitation, Bloom muscles into the world of crime journalism in Los Angeles.

Magnificent opera prima by Dan Gilroy, a work praised by the critics and a box-office hit that takes us into a world where the demand for lurid images leaves no place for scruples. In a disturbing portrayal of the lead character, Gyllenhaal turns in one of the best performances of his career to date.

Jazznesis (jazz versions of Genesis songs)

For ten years, Jaume Vilaseca led a trio that stayed close to the most genuine jazz roots whilst fusing this sound with rhythms and melodies influenced by Latin music and flamenco. Having played at festivals around the world, he recently launched Jazznesis, a quartet that pays tribute, in a jazz key, to the atmospheric symphonic rock created by the British band Genesis, as well as reworking other classics from the 1970s.
